Fish-shaped bath sponge for the youngest in the house. No longer in production.
A small fish-shaped bath sponge with soft loofah on one side and woven towel on the other, with a hanger loop for drying. Now retired from the range. For something similar, see the Oval Shape.
This one was always meant to be picked up by small hands. A fish-shaped pad with our softest loofah, a woven towel side, and a hanger loop, made for bath times when the goal was equal parts cleaning and distraction. It found its way into a lot of households over the years. It's no longer in our active range, but it earned its place while it was.
What made it work
The shape did half the parenting. Kids who refused a regular sponge would happily hand over an arm if the bath had a fish in it. The soft loofah was gentle enough for skin still figuring itself out, and the towel side handled the parts that didn't need exfoliation. The hanger loop kept it out of standing water between baths, which was the main reason it lasted.
What we recommend instead
For young skin, the Oval Shape is the current closest fit, made from the same soft fiber in a simpler oval pad. It doesn't have the fish, but it does the same job for the same kind of skin.
